Custom Framing

All of Sureline's frames are hand made by our experienced craftspeople. Our framing shop use's only the highest quality materials, and our framing team is dedicated to the long-term preservation of art work and antiques.

Float Fit Frame

Float frames are ideal for stretched canvas, panels, and mounted artworks that do not require glazing. Frame depths are customizable to fit even the deepest panels and canvases, and mounted pieces are attached to braces to add to their depth. Fitting depths and reveals are customizable. The standard is an 1/8" recess from the face and a 1/4" reveal from the inner wall of the frame.

Flush Fit Frame

Our simplest closed frame fit. Flush frames are ideal for prints and works with minimal depth. The art can either be mounted or hinged to an acid-free substrate and flush fit against the acrylic or glass glazing with zero visible margin. The lip of the frame overlaps an 1/8" of the art on all sides, something to consider when planning signature placement.

Under-Mat Fit Frame

A delicate style of closed fit. Under-mat fits include a selection of either 4ply or 8ply museum quality mat, a beveled window opening that slightly overlaps the artworks edges, hinged or mounted to an acid-free substrate, and a flush fit against acrylic or glass glazing with your desired margins.
