Material Guide
Our facemounts consist of prints delicately mounted behind high quality acrylic. The back is sealed with either a light weight PVC material know as 'Sintra" or an aluminum composite called 'Dibond". This guide will help you decide what materials and material thickness is ideal for your project.
Acrylic Types
Standard Acrylic (FF3)
Our standard acrylic is a high-quality polycarbonate plastic. Also referred to as Plexi Glass or Lucite. Ideal for most application where the photo isn't exposed to direct sunlight.
Available in: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2"
Non-Glare Acrylic (P-99)
Our non-glare acrylic is a high-quality polycarbonate plastic. Non-glare acrylic has a surface that diffuses light helping dramatically reduce reflection and glare.

99.9% U.V. Resistant Acrylic (OP3)
Our U.V. resistant acrylic is a high-quality polycarbonate plastic. U.V. resistant acrylic has a layer of U.V. blocking material that protects the original vibrant color of your prints. Ideal for pieces that are regularly exposed to sunlight.
